Testing 1, 2, 3...

JMW Motorsport had a successful test at the official LMS Paul Ricard test this month.

Rob, Gimmi and Tim were all hand for driving stints in the two day event which saw the team work closely with their tyre suppliers Dunlop. The first day of the test the team concentrated closely on typre compounds and construction which certainly bore fruit.

The second day of testing was handed over to long distance running. Both days were very encouraging for the team. And whilst much of the time was put over to more technical based testing and not pure speed, the great pace of the car was evident from the start. Indeed, the team finished fifth in the GT2 runners just 0.8secs between 1 and 5.

The team are now back at their Colchester base finalising preparations for the first race of the season at Barcelona on 4-5th April.
